We will also consider personality shaping events and critical incidents in your past which may have affected you.

  • You will be expectced to take an active role in therapy.
  • You will discover the most unhelpful thinking styles, emotions and ways of being though note-keeping and then changing how you think and what you do.
  • You will be asked to take part in simple behavioural experiments related to your difficulties in order to test your current ways of thinking and behaving.
  • Your therapist will help you identify which areas of your thoughts, emotions and behaviours need work and will assist you to achieve appropriate changes.
